Amanda Giardina joined the South Texas Spinal Clinic in January 2023. She earned her nursing degree in 2008 from Covenant School of Nursing and her Bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University School of Nursing in 2010. With a decade of experience in various Intensive Care Units and the Electrophysiology Lab, she expanded her expertise by completing her Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, GA, in 2018. Amanda is licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing and holds certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Amanda’s qualifications extend to First Assist, obtained through the National Institute of First Assisting. Her professional background includes working with total joints, neurosurgery, and ortho-spine. Originally from Colorado City, TX, Amanda relocated to San Antonio in 2011 to serve as a Second Lieutenant with the US Army at San Antonio Military Medical Center, where she continues to serve in the US Army Reserves.
Married to her husband, Matthew, since 2013, Amanda is a proud mother of one son and owner of two dogs. Beyond her professional commitments, she cherishes family time and embraces outdoor activities, especially those involving water.
